The Board Opportunity Fund provides seed funds to initiate or support short-term, high-impact activities that are in alignment with the academic priorities at UC Santa Cruz and for which no other source of funds is readily available. The primary goal of this Board-directed fund is to provide high return on investment, whether it is for a unique academic opportunity or a primer for further fundraising.
